Aditya Bhasin…on path of success.

Sunday, July 10, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin

Its been long, I haven’t written any personal post which was all about me. So here is a post about me and about the few but not last success stories of my life.

1)The Times of India.

Way back in January 2008, when I was in class 12th, one my the teacher from my school approached me that whether I would be interested to work in project where, I along with some other students will have responsibility to design the content and design of student edition of The Times of India. I had no reason to say no to that and it paid off well. I along with 4 other students and some more students from different schools worked on the student edition of the newspaper.

We all in collaboration wrote articles and made the final design of the newspaper. Our school was given 3 pages and it was our duty to write all the content for those 3 pages and we did well in it.

I wrote an article “Careers then now and next” also write a small extract about “Bobby Jindal”.

I was also eminent part in content writing for a full page debate about “ Money makes the world go around”.

2)The Hindustan Times.

This is about December 2009. I was approached by a reporter from Hindustan Times that whether I’ll be ready to write an article for them. I found that to be an amazing opportunity and went forward for that. The article was about the “Why I will never leave old Delhi”. This article was published on December 23 2009.

3)The Washington post

They counted my opinion in their news article named as “Sai Baba ‘god man’ in critical condition: How will he be remembered? By Elizabeth Flock”.I shared the space with eminent news houses like Ajj Tak, The Times of India and Zee News. They wrote in there article “But one Indian blogger wrote that he wonders if anyone will care at all.” “He is not the only Dharam Guru left on earth especially in India. He is not the only person who claims to be God’s incarnation” This thing came to be like an extraordinary success. For me appearing in an international newspaper was like been on seventh heaven. Only I and my closest friends know what kind of happiness I was feeling at that time.

4)Blog Readership

I started my blog in September 2010 with no intentions to make it big some day or be a top blogger some day. It just started when a friend motivated me towards writing blogs and I did. And here I’m today with more then 6200 hits on adityabhasinispeak.blogspot.com. Out of which more than 1000 visits were on a single post “Who cares if Satya Sai dies?” The same post of whose extract became part of Washington Post.

I wish to continue touching these milestones. And wish to see myself as a news anchor on an English news channel someday.

Just because I’m a widow; doesn’t mean I can’t be happy anymore. WORLD WIDOW WOMENS DAY

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | , , , , , , , ,

The title of this post is the plight of every widow women in this world; especially in Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

People in these countries are still not ready to accept widow women as part of society. I agree that there is been a major change in mentality of people in past few decades but the idea of not accepting a widow women as part of our society still prevails in many parts of India.

If we look into statistics there are 24 cr 50 lakh widow women in this world, out of which 4 cr 20 lakh widow are from India. In Europe the number of widow women is 13% of their population and out of all the widows 11 cr 60 lakh widow women lives below poverty line.

In December last year, UN declared June 23 as World Widow Day. This was done in order to make this world realize that there is a section of society who is not happy to some extent and are bound to leave in many restrictions. I fully support this idea and believe that we as a world need to understand the issues and problems attached to life of widow women in this male dominated society.

I would particularly talk about the situation of widow women in India. The problem with Indian ideology is that we know it well that how many MBA executives, IIT Graduates and IAS Officers we will need in 2020, but we don’t know that what will be the number & condition of widow women in country will be like in 2020.

If we go in villages of Haryana and Rajasthan, a widow woman there is still treated to be a curse on family and is considered un-auspicious. The families there are still not ready to accept that if the woman is a widow; she is not because of her will. She is because of some reason beyond her control. Death of a human being is neither in any man’s hand nor in any women’s. But she is still treated in way that it was because of her; the husband died.

The condition of Indian Widow Women is at an extremely poor and unacceptable stage. The war widow of 1971 war were questioned when they re-married. 15 % Children of widow women die before the age of 5. The government in India gives widow women pension of Rs 400 only.

On this world women widows day; I really think that government should take some serious steps to make the situation of widow women better in country.

In my opinion following things should be considered seriously:-

1)    Widow Remarriage should be ACCEPTED MORALLY all across the country especially in villages where the idea of widow remarriage is still not accepted;
2)    The women should be made self reliant by some kind of educational or job-oriented programs;
3)     It should be made compulsory for children to take care of their widow mother and don’t send her to some old age home;
4)    Centers to live and work must be developed in order to give these women a better living;
5)    The amount of pension should be increased to a relevant amount.

The major thing I would like to focus on is that if a widower men can remarry then why not a women. I know that widow remarriage is now accepted in Metropolitan cities but what about the small cities and villages, where a widow woman is still not allowed to remarry. If a woman dies than why not her husband is blamed upon for killing his wife, which happens when husband dies and woman is blamed for killing him.

A widower man lives a very normal life and doesn’t face any problems while living in society, but why a woman has to face these problems.

On this Worlds Widow Women day. I pledge to support this cause and believe that government will surely take some steps in improving the condition of widow women.

Direct admission at D.U. * Conditions Apply

Monday, May 23, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | , ,

THIS BLOG HAS MOVED TO A NEW ADDRESS WWW.ISPEAKAB.WORDPRESS.COM

Admission’s at Delhi University is now a cake walk if you were a SC or ST Category student. Yes, it is now possible, India has done it, and Delhi University has done it (We’re proud of our Country’s education system and Delhi University’s Brilliant brains). This kind of freedom is only available to Indian universities; I’ve never heard that any university granted admission to any student just on basis of caste.
http://twitter.com/#!/meadityabhasin/status/73994349880410113

But an extremely new thing has now been introduced (Thanks to Our lovely Delhi University). Student who aspire to study B.A. (Honors) English are suppose to give entrance exam to get into those Big colleges, but surprisingly any student who belongs to SC or ST category is now allowed to NOT to give this entrance exam and will get admission directly into their choice of college.

Whereas, General category and OBC students, will still fight to get into those prestigious colleges where they already have very few seats.

I’ve never been against SC or ST category people, nor am somebody who will discriminate anybody on basis of their caste or religion. But giving admission to any category of people on basis of their caste is what I’m against of. Till date SC and ST category people used to get benefit in almost everything from the minute they were born till the second they were burnt in ashes; Name the place and thing, they got the benefit (Govt Jobs, School admissions, college admissions, fee rebate and almost everything).

But direct admission to Delhi University is height of Reservation rule’s in India. I mean till when we will continue this kind of system in our country. I don’t think that SC or ST people in our country are now poor or cannot afford education cost or cost of entrance exams. They are now equally qualified and equally stable in terms of finance as compared to any other category of people. Since independence they have been getting benefits and all their generations have made their best investment wherever possible by saving money through all the rebates they got and now their younger generations are enough educated and  financially strong that even if they don’t get any benefit they will excel just like another category of people.

I’m not somebody who says that SC or ST reservation should be completely abolished because I also agree to the fact that there are still certain sections of people who cannot afford higher education and doesn’t have enough resources to crack exams like IIT or PMT especially Children of Rickshaw puller’s, Daily wage workers. I strongly support reservation for them but do you think that Ram Villas Paswan’s son  will need Tag of SC on his certificates to get into any university. No he will not. His dad will get him admission any how.

I’ve a friend of mine who belongs to SC category and is student of English Hons only; I’m more than sure if he was asked three years back to give CET to get into English Hons; he would have cleared the exam easily, and only reason behind this would have been was; that he was capable of clearing a CET. Like wise him there are endless students who belong to same category as his and can clear that CET exams but still they’ve been given so much freedom that they have been told “You SC student, No CET for you, your seat at Hindu college is already booked...”

Another thing which is very important is when this student goes and sits in his class at Hindu College; will everyone treat him equally? Will everyone be ready to accept the fact that they came into this class by fighting tough and the other student came in by just showing a certificate of been SC or ST.

With this post my effort is that we now need to understand that; we as a country called India have to grow up from barriers of caste and religion. We have to bring equality among the country.

P.S. Author doesn’t want to hurt anybody’s sentiments. Nor he is against any category of people be it General or SC or ST or OBC. With this post he only wants to pen down his views about recent admission policy change at Delhi University.

The Tag Heuer Story-II

Wednesday, May 4, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | ,

THIS BLOG HAS MOVED TO A NEW ADDRESS WWW.ISPEAKAB.WORDPRESS.COM

Those who are wondering why this post name is “The Tag Heuer Story-II” Please read my previous blog post “The Tag Heuer Story” On given link.

Few days back, I was in Vrindavan (A Hindu religious place near Mathura) along with my family. The whole journey was quite exiting but I’ll keep it for some other blog post.

As soon as I came out of the Bake-Bihari Mandir. We all were marching towards Radha Kirshna Mandir and on way it  was return every where that Devotees should take care of there Purse, Food Packets, Specks.(I got to know this later.) Like everyone I was walking normally towards the Temple. And suddenly A monkey took my specs away, Without even letting me know. It was after 5-7 Seconds I realized that my specks are missing. And then when I looked above I found that my specks are in Monkey’s hands. At first I thought that when monkey will realize  that its not something to eat he will drop it back. But what happened was opposite. He just broke my specs into pieces. There were tears in my eyes. And I only said to myself “Why this happens to my specks only.”

After two minutes I came back to my world and realized what happened exactly. Though I was damn sad but all I said to myself at the point of time and made myself understand was “Aditya Its ok. Good you have lost another Tag Heuer specks. This is it. Those specks and may be that brand was unlucky for you. Since the first day you got them, either glasses were braking up or the frame broke down. That too many times. It had coasted you heavy amount of money till date to get those specks repaired or new one. It must be that god always showed you that they were unlucky for you but you were too stubborn to wear them again-n again. You have lost another Tag Specks at a religious place. God wanted you to leave them here.  And he did.”
So this is when the saga of Tag Heuer Specks ends.

May his soul rest in peace.

Who cares if Satya Sai dies?

Thursday, April 21, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | , , , , , ,

(This is to inform all the readers that extract of this blog post became part of The Washington Post's news article on their website.)

For last some day’s news channels and newspapers are filled with news of Satya Sai Baba been critically ill and been on ventilator since March 28th. This is due to Multiple Organ failure which is a common thing that happens to human body after liver failure.

The point is who cares if Satya Sai dies?

He is not the only Dharam Guru left on earth especially in India. He is not the only person who claims to be God’s incarnation. He is also not the only Dharam Guru left in India who has built Hospitals, Schools and has done Charity endlessly.

For me People like Satya Sai, Asaram Babu, Sudhanshu Ji Jaharaj , Mridual Shastri and many other are just another Human beings. I don’t believe that God can be human nor I believe a human can be god.

Satya Sai claimed at age of 14 that he is Incarnation of Sai Baba, and he is continuing with this thing till date. And no doubt people all across the world believe him. I’m not an atheist; I do believe in God and I believe in Sai Baba along with other god’s like Jesus, Allah, Sikh God, and Hindu Gods. But I don’t believe that any human being who turns up one morning and say that “I’m Shirdi Ke Sai Baba”.

I appreciate the efforts of those human beings who do charity, who open schools, colleges, hospitals but those people who think they’re god is what turns me off.

Satya Sai baba is known to have done many miracles, be it improving somebody’s health and wealth my mere putting ashes on him/her or by producing things in air. I believe these things are just another ‘Clean hand magic tricks’ especially producing things in air.

If Satya Sai baba dies today or tomorrow or any other day, I don’t think so that this will have any adverse effect on anybody. The life of people across the world will not stop; His devotees will not sit on life mourning. The life of his devotees and people will keep on moving without any hindrance due to Satya Sai’s death.

Satya Sai once claimed that he will live until 2022 and will take a re-birth in year 2030 and in 2044 He will again announce his incarnation as Sai Baba with name Prema Sai baba. About this I’m quite sure that in year 2044 doesn’t matter He is reborn or not but for sure there would be some or other person who would claim to be Prema Sai baba. Because India is a country where Biggest Business family may fail into a new venture but a newly found Baba with some statement that he is the incarnation of this or that god will never fail.

I also wonder that because Satya Sai baba is admitted to his own hospital Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS). He may ask doctors to not to take Ventilator off him because under this condition doctors will keep on saying that he is fine and on ventilator and may continue with same till 2022, which is the year declared by Satya Sai baba as his death year. But the fact is that there are hardly any patients in this world who have came back living after been on Ventilator for more then 2 days. In my view Satya Sai Baba is already dead.

May is soul rest in peace. After all he is too a human being.

P.S. My intentions are not to hurt anybody’s religious beliefs or sentiments in anyway possible. I’m just putting my views across.

Tuff Days.

| by Aditya Bhasin | , , , , ,

It’s been almost a month that I’m going through tuff time; Things are really not turning ‘Good’ for me.

First thing, which is giving me tuff time these days is my studies. I’ve been doing quite well in my studies; especially when it comes to studying the ‘Minimum’ part for exams. But I’m very scared about my exams this year. I have no idea how they are going to be Good, Bad, or excellent.

When I talk to my friends and tell them that amount of syllabus I’ve already completed, they say that you’ve done quite more then required. But still deep down in my mind I feel as if things are still incomplete; and I have to have to do more.

One thing about which I’m very sure is that my dedication and determination about my studies this year is too high and strong; any small thing here and there will not let it go week.

But sometimes things do happen against my wish and will. Like wise it happened today; Yesterday night I kept all the related books and notes for As You Like it By William Shakespeare on my desk and said to myself that “I will complete reading all the answers and essay tomorrow”.

And today whole day what I studied was nothing. What’s the biggest negative effect this thing brings to me is my sleep. Whenever I don’t do satisfactory studies in a day; my sleep gets affected badly. Because of this I get too stubborn to not to go to bed, and rather study but studying late night is something not meant for me. Because of this neither I’m able to sleep neither study.

Second thing which is giving me tuff time these days is my favorite thing ‘Money’.
I’ve been battling with my finances for sometime now. Frequent losses in Stock Market have really made things bad for me. (This thing may come as a surprise to lot of my known people that I’ve invested in Stock Market) but the fact is I’ve.

Since March I’ve been trying to recover from losses but have been unsuccessful and frankly speaking at this time I really don’t want to get into Profit-Loss thing & that’s why I’ve stopped watching Business news and reading business news section in newspaper. I don’t want to check how things are going and I’ve left everything for time being. I’m not giving this thing a thought that how much I lost and how much I earned.

But I expect things to get better soon someway or other so that I can at least afford my daily expenses easily. (& this makes me recall that my phone bill is due on 24 April.)

And the last thing I’d like to mention. Guys wish me luck for my exams. And pry that I do great this time in my exams.
And about money thing; I’ll check it myself after exams and I know I’ll make double profit of the losses occurred to me.

Good bye folks.

Drop in your wishes in comment box. (Mind it Its Compulsory)

Anna Hazare

Thursday, April 7, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | , ,

I'm Against Corruption-I'm going to Jantar Mantar,New Delhi. Are You?

Anna Hazare has given an ultimatum to the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to enact stringent anti-corruption law– the peoples “Jan Lokpal Bill”! Jail to the corrupt must happen! We have been betrayed by those who are leading us!

This is a defining moment for India that can give our children a better future! Let us unite and stand by him! Thousands will be there to support him.

Will you be there?

Come and stay with Anna at Jantar Mantar for a few days starting 5th April at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

Who is Anna Hazare? A soldier, lone survivor in his unit in 1965 Indo-Pak war, Anna dedicated his life to the well-being of society. A bachelor, an ascetic, he has no possessions, no bank balance and lives in a temple.

In Maharashtra, Anna has single handedly transformed barren and dry regions into green and food surplus areas. He has fasted unto death on several earlier occasions. He forced the Maharashtra government to dismiss the corrupt - 6 ministers and 400 officers.

Due to his fast, the govt enacted the Maharashtra RTI Act. In 2006, when government of India tried to amend the Central RTI Act, he again went on an indefinite fast and forced the Indian government not to amend RTI Act.

Leaders, organizations and the common man from across India will be with him. This is a do or die moment – let us make it happen!

Across India, join Swami Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Swami Agnivesh, Arch Bishop of Delhi Vincent Concessao, Mahmood A Madani, Kiran Bedi, J M Lyngdoh, Shanti Bhushan, Prashant Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal, Mufti Shamoom Qasmi, Mallika Sarabhai, Arun Bhatia, Sunita Godara, All India Bank Employees Federation, PAN IIT Alumni Association, Common Cause and many other prominent organizations and leaders, as India comes out on the streets! 100+ CITIES WILL RALLY BEHIND ANNA!

Anna’s appeal to the people:

When I sit on fast from 5 April, I urge my fellow countrymen to join me in fasting for one, two, three or whatever number of days you can comfortably fast.
Along with fast, please pray to God (whoever you believe in) for better and corruption free India.
Collective prayers from all the people of India would definitely have a huge impact.
Write an impassioned plea to our Prime Minister that we look upon him to pass “Jan Lokpal Bill”, else we will be compelled not to vote for his party in next elections.Remain calm and peaceful and develop the courage to go to jail, if required, in this next freedom movement.

Salient features of Jan Lokpal Bill

Drafted by Justice Santosh Hegde, Prashant Bhushan and Arvind Kejriwal, this Bill has been refined on the basis of feedback received from public on website and after series of public consultations. It has also been vetted by and is supported by Shanti Bhushan, J M Lyngdoh, Kiran Bedi, Anna Hazare etc. It was sent to the PM and all CMs on 1st December. However, there is no response.

1. An institution called LOKPAL at the centre and LOKAYUKTA in each state will be set up

2. Like Supreme Court and Election Commission, they will be completely independent of the governments. No minister or bureaucrat will be able to influence their investigations.

3. Cases against corrupt people will not linger on for years anymore: Investigations in any case will have to be completed in one year. Trial should be completed in next one year so that the corrupt politician, officer or judge is sent to jail within two years.

4. The loss that a corrupt person caused to the government will be recovered at the time of conviction.

5. How will it help a common citizen: If any work of any citizen is not done in prescribed time in any government office, Lokpal will impose financial penalty on guilty officers, which will be given as compensation to the complainant.

6. So, you could approach Lokpal if your ration card or passport or voter card is not being made or if police is not registering your case or any other work is not being done in prescribed time. Lokpal will have to get it done in a month’s time. You could also report any case of corruption to Lokpal like ration being siphoned off, poor quality roads been constructed or panchayat funds being siphoned off. Lokpal will have to complete its investigations in a year, trial will be over in next one year and the guilty will go to jail within two years.

7. But won’t the government appoint corrupt and weak people as Lokpal members? That won’t be possible because its members will be selected by judges, citizens and constitutional authorities and not by politicians, through a completely transparent and participatory process.

8. What if some officer in Lokpal becomes corrupt? The entire functioning of Lokpal/ Lokayukta will be completely transparent. Any complaint against any officer of Lokpal shall be investigated and the officer dismissed within two months.

9. What will happen to existing anti-corruption agencies? CVC, departmental vigilance and anti-corruption branch of CBI will be merged into Lokpal. Lokpal will have complete powers and machinery to independently investigate and prosecute any officer, judge or politician.

JAN LOKPAL BILL will act as deterrent and instill fear against corruption (This movement is neither affiliated nor aligned to any political party) To stay updated about movement, either send a missed call at 02261550789.

(I received this E-Mail and thought I should share it with you. We all need to support this.)

Earth Hour 2011

Saturday, March 26, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | , , , ,

Today (March-26-2011) is Earth Hour. Around 131 Countries across the world will switch off there lights for one Hr. Keeping the Global Warming in view ,This is an attempt to make the world understand what does 'Lights' means when there is 'Darkness'.

I have always supported Earth Hour be it in Year 2010 or be it this year i.e. Today. Last year What I can remember is that I tuned off the Main switch of my House, I did this because my family was not much keen about this Global Movement. I kept on standing for One Hr near the Main switch so that nobody could turn it on.
Today also I'm going to switch off all the lights and other electrical appliances in support of Earth Hour 2011. This year my dad is also supporting Earth Hour.

This moment was originally started by WWF in 2007. The first country to take part in this moment was Australia.

The concern of Global Warming is in everyone's mind but very few people bother to take steps in preventing Global Warming. I don't say that I take too much effort in this cause,But yes I can surely say I do give my 'part' of effort. Few things that I never forget to follow in my endeavor to save 'OUR WORLD' are :-

  1. Use public transport Like Metro Rail and Public Bus.
  2. Turn off my vehicle engines on Red light.
  3. Switch off the lights in my house whenever there is nobody in room.
  4. Put the Refrigerator and Air Conditioner on Prescribed temperature.
  5. And Last but not the least SUPPORT EARTH HOUR

This Earth hour one should not only Switch Off lights, but also choose a lifestyle where your contribution to Carbon in air is least possible.

So with this post I request My readers to take a step forward. Turn Off the lights. Support Earth hour 2011. Choose a 'Carbon Free Lifestyle', and make a difference to the world.

Because my friends With every dark night...
...A new dawn Follows...

11 To 7 The post that happened across Eight hrs.

Wednesday, March 16, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin

This is story is about our visit to JNU Campus yesterday. It was me, Vi, P, Vr, VS, As and H.

Vi, P, Vr and H went there to submit there forms for MA English and I went along with them just like that no such reasons. While on way I called up M to ask if she also could join us but she had her prior commitments so she could not join us. By the time I and V reached Haus Khas metro station ,P was already at JNU Campus.

We both were waiting for V and H to come but as usual they had there reasons for coming late.
While I and V were waiting for everyone I sent a message to P abusing him for no reasons and didn’t told him that I'm also coming to JNU campus with them. That Abusive fight over the messages was fun .Then we reached JNU campus,The first thing everyone said after entering into JNU was “Is this a campus or a forest”.

The whole campus was built around kind-of-forest.

Rocks, tress, everything seemed like some remote area of the city. We all liked the campus a lot everything there was unique and it hardly looked like a campus ,While this we all were wondering how students used to mange at night roaming in this campus.

When It came to filling forms We found that Vi was all ready with his form and went ahead to drop it in the box. Where as H was still filling up the form, Vr was ready with her form and so was P but when we checked P form we found that he filled it with blue pen instead of black and by the time P could get himself a new form Vr and VS went into a 'fight' for chocolate due to which Vr's form was teared off, Now she also had to get new form and fill it again .
By this time I was damn hungry but nobody cared about me and didn’t got me anything to eat …:(

Later when all got there form work done except P we all moved towards canteen (Which I located already :) ) to grab something to eat. I had my share of 'Good Food' from everyone’s plate and then after sometime we moved in into another food zone there and filled our tummy's again.

After sitting there for some time we all finally moved out of campus.
On the way Vr and P had there share for fight for an ice-cream and
believe me that too on a red light.

As we reached metro station and were about to board the metro Vi said “Lets go to next station we'll be able to land a seat” and so did everybody else then me.

I said that “There is no point we will not get any seat”.

But then as it is said majority wins we boarded the metro opposite to our destination and after a long Friendly argument between me and everyone else we got down and Quatab Minar Metro station and then went into metro towards our destination and again we didn't got any seats thanks to everyone for wasting 20 minutes.

And then we finally reached D.U. Metro station, Me and Vi walked in till our houses & bid farewell to each other.
P.S. : Above thing was not wrote by me in accordance to publish it on my blog (www.adityabhasin.in) but for my virtual Diary.
For those who don't know this I recently started of writing a virtual diary on my laptop about my daily life experiences and things I did all across the day.

ADITYA BHASIN Plans to launch a website that will be useful to everyone and would be based on a specific subject or Idea.

Half Life Half Death

Monday, March 7, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | , ,

On November 27th 1973 a nurse was sexually assaulted by Sohanlal Bhartha Walmiki , a ward boy at the same hospital where this nurse used to work. He was motivated by resentment for being ordered to be castigated by the same nurse.

That night while this nurse was changing clothes ,He chocked her with a wire due to which the supply of  oxygen to brain was stopped resulting in cervical cord injury and  partial blindness. As per examination by doctors It was said that there was no penetration done by Walmiki as the nurse was menstruating  on that day. Reports also suggested that nurse went bleeding from anal for many days.
The theory of Anal sex was not brought out by police and the hospital due to further social implication which in there view may even have resulted in breaking her marriage.

Since that day this nurse named Aruna Shanbug is in a state of misery,Lying in state where she nor can speak or can do anything else for last 37 yrs

On February 24th 2011 her friend and lawyer Ms. Pinki Virani filled a petition in the court of law for the mercy killing which in technical terms in know as active Euthanasia.

Supreme court of India denied her petition stating that active Euthanasia can't be allowed because it is not a law in country where is passive Euthanasia is allowed under strict scrutiny of High Court.

Under active Euthanasia a patient is killed by giving some kind of medicine or injection to end life where as in passive Euthanasia the life support and nutrition support is removed to bring the patient into condition of death .

Right to live in our country is a fundamental right where as right to die is decided by Court in our country. I'm still not able to put my view across that  whether Aruna should be allowed to die or not.

It has been observed that Aruna is now eye's apple for most of the staff at KEM Hospital and they are taking care of her the best way they can since the incident happened. The medical fraternity is against mercy killing stating that there medical services are good enough to keep such a patient alive and set up an example in the medical society across world that they have capability of handling such cases.

But what I really feel is that just for mere setting up an example not allowing somebody to get relief ed from there pain is in-ethical. I, you and the doctors can only see that  pain but its that lady who is suffering that pain for last 37 yrs . Its difficult to imagine that suffering she is going through ,May be somewhere in her mind she would always be thinking that its better to die instead of living such a life and especially when you know  that there is no scope of improvement.

There is nothing left in the nurse life to live for,What I feel is that only reason she is living at this time is for mere sake that everybody else then her and her friend  Ms Pinki wants her to live.

I don't think that active Euthanasia should be legalized across the country because there are things attached to it which may bring complications like wise there can fraud cases where the family demands  for mercy killing just because there are lot of financial benefits they will get after the death of patient or in other case where family says that its difficult for them to afford the cost of treatment for whole life. In this scenario where family can't afford the medical cost government should come in front to take care of that patient because letting somebody die just because one can't afford the cost of living(treatment) is not justified.

After giving a lot of thought to this thing I'm still not sure whether mercy killing should be allowed or not .

I leave it on you to judge and decide.

God bless Aruna.

That thing called Dream...!

Monday, February 28, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | ,

Its 2 in the morning and I haven't been to bed yet, My usual time these days to go to sleep is 11 PM but in last 3 Hrs I was only thinking about some project, I wish to launch soon everything I was thinking about was the concept, money, advertisement, networking, content, design and other important aspects attached to the project.
Though at this stage I should be more concerned about my studies but the idea of this project is not going off my brains ,Only thing I'm thinking about is 'THIS PROJECT' ,How will I start and so on...

Since I was in class 8th I had a idea of starting a website called n***s4*.com which will bring everything on world wide web on single website but that’s an idea not suitable technically for somebody like me who nor has that kind of money to invest, nor people to hire but my this project which I plans to start is something I really want to do this time.

This will not be a personal blog or a personal website but something beyond 'personal' at this time I can't rather don't want to disclose what kind of website it will be but yes it would be something that will be of use to everyone .

I would be starting working on this website as soon as I get over with my exams ,I would be working on this project kind of professionally ,I'm also planning to start my own company under which I would launch the website.

Only thing I'm concerned about is my nature of losing interest in my own idea as time passes .This time I really don't want that to happen ,I want my enthusiasm level  at the same level till the time I launch that website and after that as well.

Wish Me Luck.

The Tag Heuer Story

Wednesday, February 23, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | ,

This is about a guy who was into his teen age(19) and was a speck y one sudden day he saw some celebrity wearing  an orange color spectacles By Tag Heuer ,He found those spectacles so cool that he decided to get one for himself; When he went ahead in market to find how much they coasted he was into a big shock hearing that the original one cost around Rs 6000-8000 going further he thought that he will find the same frame in Grey market as-well at much cheaper rates & when in Grey market he found that same frame for Only Rs 2000 he went mad and decided that he want it in Red color but unfortunately he did not find red color so he made his mind about buying a black tag heuer frame which he could flaunt at his relatives marriage.

On 17th day of  June 2010 He gets his black Tag Frame and found that it looks too good on him, and on 19th he finally retires his old spectacles and started wearing the Tag specks about which he also updated his facebook status “Got my new Tag Heuer Spectacles”     they looked hot with his white shirt and blue jeans and everyone else also liked it rather liked the brand name.

Then came 21st day of June 2010, This guy was coming back from his relatives house and was in hurry due to some urgent work broke his Black Tag's left eye glass while wearing helmet, by now his heart was shattered he felt like crying by seeing those broken glasses and then he had to bring his old specks back in business by the time the Tag specks are repaired. On 22nd day of June 2010 he goes to his optician to get the glasses repaired seeing his glasses the optician said “Ohhh this is the first time any customer broke his/her glasses in such short span” This guy again felt bad because he had no other emotion to express his feelings about his favorite spectacles.

It was then 26th day of June 2010 He along with his friends went to haridwar(A holy place) for precaution he took both his old specks and new Tag specks along ;On is way to haridwar he was telling his friends that “I will get my these specks (THE OLD ONE) Ganga snann “GANGA BATH because they have  seen lot of bad things ”and when he was taking bath at haridwar what happened was something to funny his old spectacles went with the flow of water ,He could not locate it and yes he lost it, but still he thanked god that it was not is tag spectacles that went with the flow of water all of his friends laughed at him when they heard this incident.

Days passed, More the people used to like his speaks more he used to fall in love with them, Then came 7th Day of July 2010 It was his salary day he went to ATM to check whether   the  salary was been credited or not , he was happy after coming back from ATM his salary for the month came to be more what he expected while driving back home on his vehicle he was not wearing a helmet and was talking on mobile phone while driving and just behind him it was his brother who was in his car. While this guy disconnected his phone and kept it back in his jeans pocket there was a pot hole which he realized much later and then suddenly his hands touched his  speaks and the speaks felt down on road to pick it up he stopped his vehicle and then something happened he never wanted his brother's car went over his tag specks  and after that he could not even locate where his specks went .

He came back home with tears in his eyes and told his mom what exactly happened his mom concealed him. He also thought that it must be some bad deed due to which this happened but at least he himself is safe else it could have been him too instead of his specks been run over by car about this  too he updated his facebook status “Car run over my Tag specks...Thanks god I'm safe it could have been me as-well”

The next day he again goes to his optician and then found a red tag specks which he always wanted this time it coasted him Rs 2500 due to red color; The irony is that the amount of salary which he thought was credited more to his account was spend 10 folds on his new red color tag heuer spectacles .

Going further days went well after so many incidents he still loved his spectacles ,Then came 17th day of august 2010 he along with his family was traveling in train & was going to vaisno devi(Holy shrine) He was sleeping at the middle birth , The window was open is tag heuer spectacles were into a case and were lying next to him only while he was asleep but when he waked up he didn't found his specks he looked over the floor of couch but didn't found them he thought that the case must have fallen from the middle birth and my be felt outside the train window he was almost about to brake down but then his mother moved a bit while she was sleeping at the lower birth he found his specks case there on lower birth , he was now back in life. He thanked god that at least he didn't lost this specks this time.

His trip to vaisno devi went well he came back and was back in his normal life , Then came someday of September 2010 he kept his glasses on bed & himself sat on floor and was taking to his mom after which he stood up and without seeing whats on bed and almost forgotten that his specks are lying on bed he sat there. He recognized the sound easily and when looked whats there, is eyes rolled down with tears  it was his tag spectacles broken into pieces ,His mom hugged him and concealed him that its O.K. Don't be sad.

He again went to optician but this time some other and got his spectacles repaired things were again  back on normal track .

Then it was 28th day of January 2011 he was wearing his red tag specks on was driving his vehicle on the way he stopped for a minute and was trying to wear his helmet in hurry and then something happened he never wanted he broke his tag specks again.....! Now once again he goes to his optician who tells him that it will take 2 days to get this repaired this guy was out of his world now because even one day without specks was like day without eyes and this time he didn't even had spare spectacles ,After two days when he went to his optician he heard something he hated to hear the optician said “Sir we're extremely sorry while repairing our technician broke of the other glass ,but you' don't worry we'll fix it by tomorrow evening;”

By now everyone among his friends and family suggested him to change his specks because everyone thought that tag heauer was not lucky for him but this guy he loved his tag specks and didn't wanted to change them nor he did.

Then came 19th day of February 2011 he was out with his friends and all of them together were playing some games when suddenly one of his friends hand hit his tag specks and they felt down and were broken again....! He now again goes to another optician to get the specks repaired and spends another day in partial blindness and finally gets his specks back and the first thing this guy does when he gets his specks back is write this post :)

Wish me and my taguer specks good luck I can't afford spending more money on them anymore.

Patiala House Film Review

Sunday, February 13, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | ,

I Speak-Aditya Bhasin rating “ three out of five”

Just got back after watching Patiala House that too in a single screen theaters and with family after such a long time and the first thing that I'm doing is to write this post though this is the time I'm usually in my dream world (0021 HRS) but for you guys & for myself I have to do this now.

Story:-
The protagonist in the movie is Bau Ji (Rishi kapoor) and Gitto (Akshay Kumar) They along with there BIG family lives in south hall;which is the hub of Asians in United Kingdom Nobody in the family dares to go beyond Bau Ji and are bound to listen him and do as he says and so does Gitto who is an aspiring fast bowler and gets a chance to get into England cricket team at age of 17 but his bau ji denies this opportunity and declares that “My son will not play for england”.
Bau ji though lives in London but he hates English people to the full extent which is because of many racist incidence he faced during his young days & the killing of his close friend advocate Sahani(Prem chopra)  thus this becomes the reason of Bau ji not letting anybody in the family including Gittto to choose any career which is somewhere connected to English people.

Gitto at age of 34 Gets another opportunity to play for England when a selector notice his talent but here again Gitto denies to play for england because he thinks if he will play for England his Bau ji will die ,here comes Simran(Anuska sharma) who motivates him to play and achieve his dreams and help his family members to achieve there dreams through him.

Acting:-

There is no doubt that Rishi kapoor plays brilliant in his role and his dialog  delivery is just perfect. For akshay this was a come back movie especially after so many flops in a row His hard work is visible in movie and undoubtedly he did well all across the movie.
Anushka was OK in her character and did looked beautiful.

Final Call:-

Its a must watch for anybody who wants to see the magic of Rishi kapoor again on screen, Akshay's performance is something to look out in this movie .

For viewers like me and you who go to watch a movie for entertainment may get a little set back because of the slow-moving screenplay and for those who are going with family no doubt they will not need to be shy in anyways after movie.

The whole move was good to watch for once and doesn't have much to bring you back to cinema once again .The passion of cricket showed in movie was real and will keep the viewers sticked to there seats.

Request to the readers
This is for the first time I'm writing a review for movie please do leave your comments about this post and let me know how can I improve myself for writing movie reviews.

A Journey beyond Limits

Saturday, January 15, 2011 | by Aditya Bhasin | ,

Its 10.30 in Night, I’m standing in my balcony with Pen and a paper for last five minutes I was only looking at moon rather a half moon.
It went un-visible due to clouds passing by it. Next moment I was looking at the vehicles moving down on the roads, Most of them trucks, Few cars, one Audi, 3 Guys talking among themselves ,one rag picker, one cow and the 'life'.

Life went on moving, without giving a look at me, everyone from trucks to cow moved ahead without giving this thing a thought that somebody, somewhere is looking at them.

It's 10:50 Now I'm now on the same road, Walking with my pen and a paper, looking at the dark yet 'life' bright street, trying to figure out what Journey my life is on....

In front of me everyone is moving fast in a view to reach there destination early...This running phase of there life made me think once again What journey my life is on....

For a moment
I stopped
Found myself place to sit
Closed my eyes
Kept my pen and paper aside
And went ahead to imagine
A jouney beyond limits.

A journey where
I See...Limits
...Boundations
...Reservation
...Horoscope
...Good and bad luck
...Poor people
...Traffic jams
...Inflation
...Corruption
...Scams
...Black Money
...Un-cleaned roads
...Bad politicians
...Irresponsible media
....Saas bahu serials
....Illness
...Bad humans

And then I opened my eyes and found that this was the end of the road and when I looked at the other side of road what I see is...

Everyone including me is.....

...Moving ahead to achieve there biggest dreams

...Doing things in a manner they wish to do

...Selection in schools, colleges, Govt Jobs on basis of merit not caste or religion

...Starting a new business without checking nakshatras
...Falling in exams and telling themselves  “I knew it already I didn’t study at all It’s my call, Luck doesn’t matter”

...Earning themselves a good life and at least 2 times meal

...Cars, Bikes and offcource trucks moving on towards there journey smoothly

....Food, diesel, petrol, Onion on prices within the buying capacity of everyone

....Every Govt employee doing His/Her duty to best of there ability

....No 2G Scams, No Neera Radia Scams

...Each and every penny in country to be white money thus no tax thief’s

...Roads across the country as clean as one selves own houses

...Well educated, Young politicians

...Motivational and happy news reports

...Educational and message containing TV Serials

...High rate of living and nobody dieing due to illness
And finally
Good Human’s, Working together to make there dreams come true, making country a developed nation, with a single Goal of progress.

P.S. It was after reading the post  'BOOK' from my friend's blog www.sweetheartminx.blogspot.com  I got motivated towards writing this post and A Very Special thanks to Pramod Singh Negi for Encouraging me  to write this post(www.pramodsingh1989.blogspot.com)
